Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

3:00 pm. Please give yourself plenty of time to find parking! We have attached a parking map to the St. Mary's parking instructions on the "Travel" page of this website.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, the wedding is formal. This includes tuxedos or suits for men, and formal gowns or floor length dresses for women.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We encourage our guests to stay at the Hyatt Regency Austin in our room block as that will be most convenient. Please refer to the "Travel" page of our website for the room block link. The Embassy Suites by Hilton on South Congress is walking distance from the Hyatt and is another good option!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We kindly request that our guests not bring a plus one unless they are specifically mentioned on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are welcome if listed on the invitation. Please make sure to RSVP for them so we can have an accurate head count. *Please note that we will not be providing a meal for children 2 years and younger.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There is no transportation provided. We recommend driving to the church ceremony and parking in their free garage, and then driving and parking in the Hyatt parking garage. Please refer to our "Travel" page for parking instructions. Uber and Lyft are other widely used options.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes. When RSVPing for the reception there will be a question asking for dietary restrictions. Please provide your specific food allergy/request and the hotel staff will try their best to accommodate you.

When should we check in to the hotel?

Answer

Our ceremony ends at 4:30 pm and the cocktail hour starts at 5:00pm. We encourage our guests to use that 0.5 hour break as a time to check-in. Check-in time for the Hyatt typically begins at 4:00pm, but you may request an early check in (before the ceremony) and the hotel will do their best to accommodate you.

When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by March 1, 2024. *Note - if you do not RSVP we will consider that a decline. Thank you for understanding. RSVPs are now closed.
