Short brief snippets of time in passing. Almost daily deliveries to my work with a few words exchanged here and there. Bryan will tell you I was giving him "ojitos," but it was certainly mutual. After a few months Bryan gave me his number. He went old school with this. He went almost a week carrying around a little piece of paper with his number on it...he was trying to find the right moment. Then there go my ojitos. The office had a delivery that needed to go out and I asked him to take it...but of course I walked him to the back to show him where it was. That was just the moment alone he was looking for. He very nervously takes out the paper...shaky hands and all...and hands me his number. My stomach was full of butterflies, I take the paper without even opening it and just smile and say thank you. Needless to say I texted at the end of the day and to my joy and surprise he preferred a phone call...I'd found him.

He insisted on a belated birthday dinner. I was very excited for a special night out to The Palm. They always take great care of us at The Palm since he is their delivery guy also. After a wonderful dinner out comes the manager with our dessert. Oddly enough he tells us the table before us lost there phone...it might be between the wall and the booth. As we get up to check for the phone he places the dessert on the table and on the plate is written..."Will you marry me?" I look over at Bryan and he is already getting down on one knee. I can't believe this is happening. Everyone around us bursts out cheering and clapping that I almost forgot I had to say yes! I had a smile from ear to ear for the rest of the night. As the patrons of the restaurant left for the evening they stopped by our table to congratulate us on our engagement...I am engaged to the love of my life! Bryan made that a truly special and unforgettable night.
