We’ll then connect you directly with the hotel to finalize your booking and payment.
Wedding events will take place from Thursday, February 4th, through Sunday, February 7th. We recommend arriving by Thursday in time for the welcome dinner and departing on Sunday after brunch. For those able to stay longer, we encourage extending your trip. Many guests choose to spend a few days in Medellín before joining us in Guatapé. We’re happy to share recommendations on where to stay and what to do.
The ceremony will be held at Parroquia Nuestra Señora Del Carmen in Guatapé, located in the town center, about 10 minutes from Tau House (Hotel). Transportation will be provided on the wedding day to and from the ceremony.

The drive from the airport to Tau House is about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Uber is the easiest option and typically costs $30–$40 USD We can also connect you with trusted drivers for a flat rate Please avoid accepting rides from drivers outside the airport.
We have reserved the entire Tau House for our guests. Rooms are limited and will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Don't hesitate to get in touch with us after you RSVP so we can coordinate your room and preferences.

Ceremony and reception: Summer Formal Pool party: Resort-style attire
Passport Bring a valid passport. Make sure it does not expire within 6 months of your travel dates. Entry requirements U.S or Canadian guests just need a valid passport. Canadian guests should be aware that an entry fee has historically applied and may still be charged in some cases upon arrival. Currency The local currency is the Colombian peso (COP), and while U.S. and Canadian credit cards are widely accepted, it’s helpful to carry some cash for taxis, tips, and smaller purchases. Transportation Use Uber or pre-arranged drivers from the airport. Please avoid accepting rides from drivers outside the terminal. Weather Guatapé has mild, spring-like weather year-round. Days are warm, evenings can be cooler. Light layers are recommended. Altitude Medellín sits at a moderate elevation (~5,000 ft), but most people do not experience issues. Stay hydrated, especially after arrival. Outlets and electricity Colombia uses the same plug types as the U.S. & Canada (Type A/B), so no adapter is needed. Voltage is 110V.
