Through every stage of life, she has always been there with encouragement, laughter, and a heart full of kindness. Melanie has been my friend for 18 years and holds a very special place in my heart as my very first friend from middle school. From the beginning, our friendship has been full of laughter and unforgettable memories. Melanie is hilarious, smart, and incredibly hardworking. One of the funniest things about her is that she’ll tell you a story, and later when you bring it up she’ll say, “OMG, how do you know that?”—even though she was the one who told you! That’s just one of the many things that makes her so fun to be around. A memory I’ll always cherish is taking all of our kids to Disney together. Moments like that remind me how lucky I am to have grown up with a friend like her. Melanie and I have the kind of friendship where we might not talk for a while, but when we do it feels like we spoke just the night before. Having her here on my special day means the world to me, because she has been by my side since the very beginning. I’m so grateful for our friendship and all the memories we’ve shared—including all those test answers she helped me with along the way! 😝

One of my favorite memories is when we lived together and would go watch the sunset—those quiet moments mean so much to me. Alexis is very adventurous and loves to travel, and I’m so happy to have her by my side on such a special day.
