What is the venue for the wedding reception?

The Terrace at Cedar Hill 800 Westmere Ave Charlotte, NC 28208 The Terrace at Cedar Hill is located on the top floor of a historic brick building and offers a panoramic view of the Charlotte skyline.

Are children allowed?
Answer
While we adore children, we've opted for an adults-only affair to allow everyone to relax and enjoy the celebration (unless previous arrangements have been made). We hope you understand our decision and can arrange childcare for the evening. If you have any concerns or special circumstances, please don't hesitate to contact us directly to discuss further.

Due to venue capacity, we can’t host any additional guests that didn’t receive formal invitations.

What is the easiest way to get to and from your venue?
Answer
While there will be parking available, we highly suggest Uber/Lyft, especially if you planning on enjoying a drink or two.

Is there parking available near your venue and can I leave my car overnight?
Answer
There is a big parking lot that is exclusively reserved for our guests. Cars can be left overnight but must be picked up by 7:00am the next morning.

What accommodations are available for out-of-town guests?
Answer
We understand that many of our guests will be traveling from out of town to join us for our special day. To ensure your comfort, we've arranged a few room blocks at Hyatt Place Charlotte Downtown. The venue is conveniently located in Uptown Charlotte, so there are many hotel and AirBnB options available as well. You can find more information on accommodations, including booking codes, on our website's "Travel" page. Feel free to reach out if you need further assistance or recommendations!

Cocktail attire recommended, and we encourage you to have fun with your attire! It’s all about creating a party-ready look while keeping it classy with a bit of pizzazz and personality.

Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience.

Will the cocktail hour and reception take place indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The cocktail hour will take place on their covered terrace (with fans) and the reception will take place inside the venue.
