Zack and I met in late February of 2014 while we were having dinner at Aki with mutual friends. We immediately clicked. Our relationship has been effortless and spontaneous since the very beginning (as it should be). We then met each other’s family and friends (whom all adored him, because how can you not?) Our relationship did not become “official” until October 17, 2014. On this day, I went to my best friend’s house, where Zack was waiting for me. With him, was a pumpkin he had carved that stated, “be my girlfriend”. I was surprised, thrilled, and obviously said yes. Since then, we have shared many life changing events, accomplishments, tears of sadness, and tears of joy. My favorite moment when we BOTH experienced tears of joy was on our most recent New Years Eve. My brother, his girlfriend Morgan, Zack, and I visited Annapolis, MD for the evening. At around 11:45pm on New Years Eve, Zack got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. The first thing I said was “are you serious!?”, then I of course said “yes!” At midnight we watched the fireworks over the water and celebrated our engagement. We are looking forward to our wedding day where we will celebrate our love and future life together with our closest family and friends! See you all there :)
