While we would love to see the little ones, this wedding will include an open bar on a boat at night so for their own safety, kids are not allowed. Sorry! Space is extremely limited on the boat! If your invite says +1 or Add a Guest, then we accounted for an extra adult, if not, then it's just for you.
There is no intentional "theme" other than LOVE. The wedding colors are classic Black and White but it's not meant to be a "black tie affair." We just want to have fun and enjoy this day with the company of our closest family and friends. Dress Up comfortably. It's a lake wedding in April and any Texas weather is possible so layers are always good. If wearing a dress, we suggest you stick to ones that won't flash everyone when the wind blows. There are STEEP AND NARROW SPIRAL STAIRS to get to the top deck of the boat so low heels may be appropriate...then YOU CAN DANCE!
We wanted to make things easy on the boat so everything is self-serve!! Enjoy drinks and appetizers when you first board and then everything else after the ceremony. Catered by Hyatt Regency. Appetizer: Nacho & Salsa Bar Meal: Fajita Bar: Beef/Chicken/Grilled Vegetables with all the traditional sides. Drinks: Open Bar of our favorite local craft beer & wines. Plus Mr. and Mrs. Signature cocktails, Tea, Water and Sodas. Coffee will be available with the cake at in the Hyatt Bar Sweets: Catering Courtesy of Ms. Cheesecake Lady - www.//facebook.com/tishascookin Please let the boat staff know if you have any food allergies. Thank you!
Hotels downtown and lakeside are premium rates but there are several economical options up and down I-35 that are only a short Lyft/Uber away.
