Our story is unconventional in many ways. We met on March 25th, 2016 at a gym in Cranford, where Cristiana was working out and Chris was training a student-athlete. We became acquaintances and both discovered our passion for having an active lifestyle, education and social life through small talk during our workouts. After a few casual get togethers, we went on our first date on June 30th, 2016 at City Bistro, a rooftop restaurant and bar in Hoboken. We have been together ever since. We now live in Hoboken, NJ, where most of our memories have taken place. Chris proposed on May 12th of 2018, on a rooftop in NYC that was identical to the setting of our first date. Our wedding vision is romantic, elegant, outdoor/indoor, surrounded by our best friends and family.

The Proposal

Chris insisted on having date night on May 12th. He mentioned us going to have dinner and a show. We both enjoy plays and musicals, so this was not unusual. On this day, driving into the New York City, the Uber driver dropped us off at a hotel uptown, where Chris said we would be grabbing a drink before our show. When we got upstairs to the bar area, there were several rose petals, and candles that lead to an area where champagne and pictures of us were set up. Chris proposed while having pictures taken by a family member. After having pictures taken during this intimate moment, Chris had a surprise dinner and drinks with our family and best friends waiting. It was the perfect day.
