We've known each other since we were little because our moms are close friends. We'd gone to the beach together, seen the famous Bananas in Pajamas, and went to each other's bowling birthday parties! As we grew, we went to different schools and didn't keep contact with one another. Fast forward to when I'm about to graduate from high school, his mom came to my graduation party and showed me a picture of him and I couldn't help but think he was so cute! Apparently he had the same thought about me when he saw my grad party invite. Too bad he hadn't made it to my party! But only a few weeks after that, he contacted me and we decided to go to his homecoming together. From then on, there has been so much love, but also life's challenges and hurdles that we've helped each other through and learned from each other on. Finally, on September 13, 2019—a Friday the 13th I might add—he asked me to marry him while we were on top of a ferris wheel at the county fair! Feeling elated is an understatement. I'd known for so long that he'd be the one and I can't wait to share his name and continue sharing a life with him! We've built so many memories in the 8 years we've been together and continue to grow stronger as a couple. Here's to forever!
