Who knew that after being in our respective cousins (Indira & Justin) wedding seven years ago, we would be planning our own. “Spotlights, big stage. Fifty thousand fans screamin' in a rage”, are the lyrics to Usher’s hit song “Superstar”. It’s 2023, and those said cousins are celebrating, “Lil Justin’s” 40th birthday in Vegas and Usher’s concert is the highlight of the trip! It’s then that my Justin decides to ask me, if I would be his date to the show. Turns out, the best concerts don’t always end when the music does. From that night on, we discovered how much we enjoyed similar things; traveling, good eats, family, and exploring new adventures! This shared bond only cemented that we loved experiencing life together. We’ve found that the best memories are made side by side, and with our family. Travel became our love language—each trip another chapter, each adventure another reason to fall deeper in love. But one trip changed everything.

On a European birthday tour for Justin, filled with breathtaking views and unforgettable moments and memories, we found ourselves in Paris—the city of love. Near the Eiffel Tower, with the city glowing around us, he asked the question that made time stand still. On one knee, “Crishun Arnesia Pruitt, will you be my wife”, and I said “YES” (OUI)! It was then we knew our greatest adventure was just beginning.
