Please RSVP by September 15, 2025 so we can finalize seating, meals, and all the little details.
Our wedding is Black Tie Optional. This means tuxedos and evening gowns are encouraged, but a suit and tie or a formal cocktail dress are perfectly fine. Our ceremony is set to take place outside along the Connecticut river, so please be prepared if the weather is on the chilly side. The reception will be held indoors.
In the event of rain for the ceremony, the venue has an additional tented outdoor area as a back up. If there is lightning or other weather that restricts us from being outside, there is a small ceremony space indoors.
Yes, the ceremony and reception will be taking place at Saint Clemens Castle in Portland, CT. This specific space dedicated to our wedding is called the Waterford room.
Yes, Saint Clements Castle has dedicated parking for our ceremony and reception space. Please follow the signs upon your arrival for our wedding.
Please arrive to the ceremony no later than 4:30 PM. Happy hour will take place from 5 PM to 6 PM and the reception will kick off at 6 PM.
Your invitation will indicate if you have a plus one. We wish we could invite everyone, but space is limited.
We love your little ones, but our wedding will be adults-only. If your child or children are invited, it will be indicated on the invitation and RSVP. Immediate family members will be bringing their children to the ceremony for family photos. We wish we could have room for everyone, but space is limited. Thank you for understanding!
Hell yeah! We’ll have beer, wine, specialty cocktails, and plenty of non-alcoholic options.
Since most of our family and friends are still local to Connecticut, we have not reserved any room blocks for our wedding. If you’d like to stay at a local hotel, I have listed accommodations on a different page of this website. There are also lots of Airbnb‘s within 20 minutes of the venue! If you have any questions or need recommendations for your travel, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Please feel free to reach out to Nicole or Jonathan for any additional questions, we’re more than happy to get them answered or ask the venue for more information!
