Is there a dress code?

Our theme is a classy redneck. We want you to be comfortable! Button up shirts, long flowy dresses, or whatever brings you joy. We recommend avoiding heels, our ceremony will be outside and in grass.

Can I bring my child?

Answer

We’re delighted to have kids join us for our wedding! We kindly ask that anyone under the age of 13 head home by 9 PM so the adults can enjoy the rest of the evening.

What weather should I expect?

Answer

Of course, we can't guarantee anything but there could be rain. It is common that it could be humid and warm. Keep an eye on the weather here https://www.keloland.com/weather/ in the weeks leading up to the wedding.

What should I expect directly after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the immediate family will be taking pictures for about an hour. Guests can head inside where snacks and drinks will be flowing. Dinner will be served around 4:30 PM. Take a moment at that time to look at our prizes for our silent auction.

Will transportation be provided? Is there easy parking at the venue?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception are taking place at the same venue. There is ample parking for those who feel comfortable driving, and Uber/Lyft is a great option for those who don't. Please stay safe and default to Uber/Lyft or carpooling if you plan to drink.

We'd love to hear from you by April 1st. That's the RSVP deadline!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony, which means no photos! We’re so glad you want to capture the ceremony! To ensure everything is beautifully photographed, we’ve hired a professional photographer to cover the event. We kindly ask guests to refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony and let the photographer do their magic. Thank you for understanding!

When should I arrive to Sioux Falls?

We want you to make it a vacation! Not only witnessing our union but also enjoying our life in and around Sioux Falls! We suggest coming a least a week before the wedding to sight see and get to know our city.

What would happen if the weather changes unexpectantly?

Answer

We plan on holding an outdoor ceremony, but if there are any changes, we will move it indoors.

Can I bring my own alcohol?

Answer

Our venue does not permit outside alcohol. We’re so looking forward to celebrating with everyone! To keep things simple and ensure everything stays on track, the venue will be providing all the drinks for the event. We kindly ask that guests do not bring their own alcohol.
