Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Our venue and caterer must have all RSVP's no later than October 23rd; we ask that everyone respond back by October 18, to allow us time to organize our list. RSVP online by clicking the RSVP tab. If you have a family member that is unable to access the website, please reach out to them and see if you can RSVP for them. With the uncertainty of the COVID-19 crisis, your RSVP is extremely important. Our maximum allowed will be strictly enforced. You will only be able to RSVP for the amount that is noted on your invite. Anyone who does not RSVP is at risk of not being allowed to participate in the ceremony/reception OR may be expected to have a lawn chair and take-out meal with them.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our venue has a strict maximum allowed policy and at this time we are at the maximum headcount. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Check out the weekend events you may be invited to, your dates are more than welcome at those events as we do not have strict in person maximum restrictions for those.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We would love to have your little ones at our wedding as long as they are included in your invited amount, Please note: there is a tree house that will be off limits to all wedding guests. In addition, there will be a fire pit we recommend once the fire is started you make sure the kids know it is dangerous.

Question

There are other wedding events I can attend?

Answer

We are going to extend our wedding efforts into the full weekend, starting Friday night. We would like to extend an invite to all our guests traveling to celebrate with us to attend a pre-wedding dinner and post- wedding brunch. For more details please see the events page.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is dressy casual. Ladies should wear dressy but comfortable outfits; the grass may be soft so you might want to re-think the stilettoes, and the gentlemen should wear dress pants and a dress shirt, and a sports jacket is an option too; just no jeans please. P.S. It might be best to stay away from the following colors, white, black, red, or bright blue.

Question

What will the weather be like this time of the year?

Answer

Although it's winter, we expect to have spring-like temperatures, and no rain. Some evenings/nights can get a bit cool, we advise bringing a sweater or jacket. In the event that we experience a very cool night there will be heaters in place and a fire pit so that everyone feels comfortable.

Question

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place? Will it be indoor or outdoor?

Answer

We will be getting married and celebrating at Twisted Oak Farm. The ceremony will be located outside under a oak tree, the cocktail hour (which will begin immediately after the ceremony) will be held on the barn's deck, just a few feet away from the ceremony area and the reception/dinner inside the barn.

Question

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “not attending,” so we can plan accordingly. Please note: As COVID still remains unpredictable for so many, we will be streaming the wedding live for those that will not be able to make it/or did not make the guest list. Details for the live stream can be reviewed in the events page. We can you'll have time to attend virtual if not in person, please RSVP for that as well so that we can ensure the streaming host is prepared for the amount of guests.

Answer

We recommend that you arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony, anyone arriving after the ceremony will not be able to enter the ceremony area until after the bride walks down the aisle.
