Flight
For our guests traveling from abroad, you may choose to fly into either of Bucharest’s airports: Henri Coanda or Baneasa, which are located just 8 kilometres apart.
Train
The easiest and cheapest way to get to Bucharest after touching down is by train. The station is just outside the airport and gets you to Gara de Nord in under 25 minutes. You can tap your card on the readers inside the carriages. Alternatively, ridesharing apps such as Uber, Bolt or Blue are also available at the airport and can take you to Bucharest or Snagov.

Hotel
You'll find lots of charming guesthouses and lakeside resorts near our wedding venue, such as Snagov Club, Gradina Snagov and Country Spa Retreat. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway in the woods, Booking.com has plenty more options to choose from.
Travel Note
Bucharest is an incredible place with lots to do, and it's definitely the best option if it’s your first time visiting Romania and you want to explore. You'll have no shortage of hotels, Airbnbs, restaurants and bars. It’s about a 40–50 minute drive to the venue, so you can enjoy the city and still be within easy reach of the wedding. Snagov is a peaceful lakeside area, about 40km north of Bucharest. Staying nearby means a short, easy trip to the venue and a relaxed atmosphere before and after the wedding. However, accommodation options are more limited and there’s less to do outside your hotel or guesthouse. But it's still a great choice if you prefer a quiet weekend surrounded by nature rather than city life.
Travel Note
For guests staying in Bucharest, please note that the venue is located a bit outside the city and may take some time to reach, especially during rush hour. We recommend allowing extra travel time and booking through Uber, Bolt or Blue. If you'd prefer to escape the hustle and bustle of the big city and stay in Snagov instead, the same ridesharing apps can be used for convenient local transport. There is also parking available on site for guests travelling by car.
Train
If you'd like to extend your stay and explore other parts of Romania, the national rail is a reliable way to travel: https://www.cfrcalatori.ro/ You could head to Brasov for mountains and castles or Constanta for beaches and seaside vibes; they're both just a couple of hours from Bucharest.
