How can I RSVP?

Answer

Please fill out your RSVP card that is included with your invitation and mail it back by May 1st. It is important to fill out the attending guests names so we can plan for the big event! If you cannot make it, please still return your RSVP so we can account for all our invited guests. Don't forget to include a song that'll get you on the dance floor!!

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The wedding is outdoor with a boho/vintage theme. Semi formal garden party attire is recommended. Example: Sun dresses for women and dress shirts & pants for men. Our wedding colors are burgundy, dusty blue & navy blue. Feel free to incorporate them!

Who is in the wedding party?

Answer

We have decided to break tradition and not have a wedding party. We want all of our friends and family to enjoy the wedding as our guests. We welcome anyone who wants to help out or have a special role to reach out to us. We can't wait to celebrate with you all!

Aster Weddings and Events is an outdoor venue that is located in a beautiful woodsy area. The ceremony will be outside and the reception will be held under a sailcloth tent. Check out their website for further info! https://www.asterweddings.com/

Will there be open bar?

Answer

We are providing open bar to our guests for the first 3 hours! After that the bar will turn into a cash bar for the remainder of the night.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Well, NY weather can be very... let's say spontaneous! We are hoping for a warm sunny day but in the case it rains or gets chilly at night, we recommend being prepared for both outcomes.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive at least a half hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time & seated so we can get the party started as scheduled!

May I take a centerpiece, candle or flowers home as a souvenir?

Answer

We are renting our decor and table settings so we ask that guests leave them. We will have a special wedding favor available for our guests to bring home as a souvenir!
