Where is the wedding reception taking place?

The wedding reception will start at 5:00pm at Miss Carousel 1201 St Emanuel St Houston, TX 77003

Is there easy parking at the venue?

Answer

There is a parking lot on St Emanuel Street for $7. Please make sure you pay at the kiosk or on the Park Houston App. Also, there is metered parking on the street, please make sure you pay at the appropriate station or on the Park Houston App. Please make sure you pay attention to signage as this area is highly monitored and you will get ticketed or booted. Additionally, there is Valet Parking offered at Truck Yard Across the street for $10.

What weather should I expect?

Answer

Of course, we cannot guarantee anything, but it typically starts to cool down in Houston at this time of year. The event will be inside but you might want to grab a jacket for the walk back to the car at the end of the night.

What should we expect after the reception?

Answer

The reception will end at 9pm. At that time, Miss Carousel will put away the tables and open the bar up to outside patrons. If you would like to hang out at the bar with us after feel free to stick around.

How do I RSVP? What should I do if something comes up?

Answer

The deadline to RSVP is November 5 and you can do that here on our website under the RSVP Tab. If you need to change your status, you can change it in your original RSVP or text Carson or Randi.

Can I bring my partner or a plus one?

Answer

We are at capacity with our venue which means we are sadly unable to accommodate additional guest. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If you have any questions, please reach out.

Is the wedding reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes! The ramp entrance is on St Emmanuel street in front of Vinny's Pizza. You will take this ramp around the corner to the right to arrive at the entrance for Miss Carousel.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes! We have handpicked a cocktail & mocktail menu for the event.

What type of food and drink will be served during cocktail hour?

Answer

We will serve light snacks during cocktail hour, followed by a delicious dinner.... and of course dessert. We are personally looking forward to the blueberry cheesecake.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?
