Aside from Christmas, Easter has always been one of my favorite holidays. The first year we were dating, I was a little over excited about giving Jason his Easter basket, but he silently noted my love for Easter. Fast forward two years. Jason is always working, so Easter is no exception. I was just about asleep on the couch when he came in from a double, excited to exchange our Easter Baskets. This year he bought so much candy, he had to fill two baskets for me. Just about the time I thought I was done with my basket, he had me dig down under the grass. There was a large egg. He had this weird look on his face. I opened the egg and a jewelry box was inside. This is where things become a blur. I remember opening the box, maybe saying a few curse words, tears and then Jason, sitting there excited, scared, and SILENT! I think at that point I said something like, "Do you have something to ask me?" which quickly reminded him that he had to ask for my hand in marriage. After waiting for that ring for what felt like an eternity, of course I said YES!
