Maid of Honor
I remember when I first met you, Shelbe. I was 17, beginning my freshman year at Mizzou. I was terrified, excited, nervous, and thrilled all at once. I was so unsure of myself and so worried about making friends. Then, one of my very first nights on campus, you walked into my life. From that moment on, I don’t think I had ever laughed so hard—or felt so instantly at ease. Ten years later, you are so much more than a friend—you are family. I am endlessly grateful for all the life we’ve experienced together, the lessons we’ve learned, and the memories that still make me laugh. Thank you for being one of the brightest lights in my life and for standing by me through every chapter. I love you so much.

Erika and I met at through work at Mayo Clinic on one of the very first projects I was assigned, and I instantly felt lucky to know her. She was the first person to invite Colin and me out when we were new to Jacksonville, which perfectly captures who she is. Warm, welcoming, and thoughtful to her core. Erika, you are one of the kindest and most authentic people I know, and you never fail to make everyone around you laugh. You, Drew, and Sophia feel like family, and we are so grateful to have friends like you so close by.

Megan is my longest standing friendship. We met as toddlers through our families and grew up on the same street, sharing vacations, holidays, and just about every childhood memory. From the very beginning, Megan has been outgoing, funny, and adventurous, always bringing energy and laughter wherever she goes. No matter where life has taken us, we have always stayed connected, and every time we’re together it feels like no time has passed at all. I am endlessly grateful for a friendship that has grown and endured through every chapter.

Abbie and I met through Facebook while both searching for roommates at Mizzou. Little did we know that one message would lead to living together all four years of college. Abbie quickly became my built-in best friend, the person I did absolutely everything with. She is calm, hilarious, and fiercely loyal, and somehow always knows how to keep things grounded while still making me laugh. From everyday moments to unforgettable memories, life with Abbie was better in every way. I am so grateful to have her by my side as a bridesmaid and as a lifelong friend.

Sami is one of those people who can make you laugh no matter the situation. From the very beginning, her humor, quick wit, and larger-than-life personality have brought so much joy into my life. Whether we’re laughing until we cry or turning the most ordinary moments into unforgettable ones, Sami makes everything more fun. I am so lucky to have a friend who brings so much laughter and light, and I can’t imagine this celebration without her by my side.

Flower Girl
Sophia is incredibly special to us as the very first baby to come into Colin and my life. She was born on June 3, 2025, and we met her when she was just three days old and weighed only five pounds. From that moment on, we don’t think a week has gone by without making sure we see her. Sophia is truly the happiest baby you will ever meet, and she has filled our lives with so much joy. We have endless love for her and for her wonderful parents, and we are so honored to have her as our flower girl.
