Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Due to venue size restrictions, we are not having children at our celebration. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we hope you can enjoy the day of celebration with us!

Question

What's the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

Semi-Formal Attire. Men - think suitcoat and/or tie, dress shirt and slacks. Women - think knee to floor length dresses. Remember it's December!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There are large parking lots at both the St. Pascal Baylon Church and the Harriet Island Pavillion. There will also be shuttles going back and forth from the Intercontinental to the Pavillion. Overnight parking at the Intercontinental is $38+tax.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

For all our food allergies/diet preferences, our caterer will assist with your needs day of. They have gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, and other options for food. Please listen to their announcement at the beginning of the reception.

I don't see a food option on my RSVP, what are we having?

Answer

We are doing buffet style so no one will go hungry! The options for all are: Fresh Spinach Salad with Strawberries Tortellini Carbonara Roasted Tomato & Basil Chicken Roasted Vegetables Garlic Bread Vegetarian: Spinach & Garlic Tortelloni

What if I can't attend the full day?

Answer

We would love to have you there from ceremony to end of the dance but understand that can be a long day. Please let us know if you are able to join us for dinner!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

There will be an open bar for everyone to enjoy throughout the evening. We do recommend bringing cash or a credit card along if you plan to attend the after-party, as we will have the hotel bar open after the dance has ended. This will not be hosted.

What time will your wedding reception end?

Answer

Our reception ends at 11:00 pm, sharp. We plan on being at the Intercontinental hotel bar after the reception.

Schedule for the day?

Answer

Our ceremony is at 2:00 pm and will end at around 2:45 pm with the Harriet Island Pavillion opening at 4:00 pm. If you are staying at the hotel we recommend checking in after the ceremony as their standard check-in time is 3:00. The shuttles will start running at 4:00 pm to the Pavillion, once you are settled in. There is a bar at the hotel and many great places to grab a snack or drink at the nearby historic West 7th Street. Our favorites are Cossetta's and J R Mac's!

When is the RSVP deadline?

RSVP Deadline is November 1st. There's a chance we'll have a mental breakdown if we have to chase you down.

Are there other wedding events I can attend?

Answer

On Sunday, we will be at Malcom Yards *this could change - stay tuned as the date comes closer * Time is yet to be determined.

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

We'd recommend arriving about 10-15 minutes early (1:45pm) to allow ample time to park & find a seat.
