Cody and Kayla were two small town kids from Ponder TX. They both lived two completely different lives with two different crowds of folks. They passed each other in the halls but neither of them would of believed you, if you said they be married with a family years down the road! One day in town Kayla and a few mutual friends of cody's decided to call him up and head to Cabelas for the afternoon. During the truck ride there, Kayla couldn't help but notice how handsome Cody was. It was kinda weird because she was in classes with his sister Kasey! Anyways, they shopped around and Cody kept picking on Kayla, as in this guy thought it would be funny to hit her with a giant stuffed gator! Kayla was like wow this guy doesn't like me at all. well after all that excitement Kayla and Cody went there separate ways........Did you really think that was the end? Heck no! They texted later that evening and met up again two days later where they spent the entire day together and literally every single day after that for 1,460 days and counting! the most unlikely couple found love, comfort and a home within each other!

Cody had been planning a special trip of some kind for Kayla's 22nd birthday. Kayla had been trying her best to get him to tell her where in the heck they were going, but Cody refused to let any tips or hints slip. The morning of august 11th,2016 Cody and Kayla left the house bags packed and ready to go, when he pulled out of the driveway and asked her, "Do you want to know where we are going ?" Well of course she did so she squealed and said "YES!" So he informed her that they were spending her birthday at the San Luis Resort in Galveston TX! she was more than excited, well she cried so that said it all. On August 13th the day after her birthday, he wanted them to go on a special fancy dinner date. so she got dolled up and they walked out of the resort to the gorgeous front area and took pictures, well Kayla was looking at the gorgeous flowers when Cody walked up behind her saying the sweetest things and asking how much she loved him. This is when Kayla turns around and Cody says well I love you this much and gets down on one knee, tears in his eyes and the most gorgeous ring She had ever seen!

On June 23,2018 at oak meadow ranch in valley view texas, Cody Carmack and Kayla Banks will become one with the love and support of their closest friends, family and coworkers. These two are beyond blessed by the good lord above. Hand in hand and their beautiful children watching as they give each other the greatest gift of all...Love!
