I am the oldest of 4 children and was homeschooled K-12. One day I was online and I saw this ad for an online dating site! I was bored and decided that I didn't have anything to loose so I signed up. I met Stephen and he asked me what Salvation was. I honestly thought I'd scare him off with my answer. He however was so impressed with my answer. We talked for awhile and the more I got to know him the more I fell inlove with him. He asked me to be more than friends in January of 2021. I had never had a boyfriend before and was nervous to start one virtually, but I knew that Stephen was worth it. In May of 2021 Stephen came to the USA and we met in person and were together for a month! He celebrated my birthday with me and a week later he asked me to be his wife! I was happy to say yes to him. We've learned that the Lord won't stop what he has planned for your life. Who would have thought that a man from Canada and a Woman from the USA would meet and fall in love during a worldwide pandemic.

For those of you who do not know me, my name is the groom. I have many siblings. Emily, Katie, Natalie, Jeff, Rachel. A wonderful Mom and Dad and a wonderful stepdad who have all done an amazing job shaping me in my life. I love cooking I went to culinary school. I am a huge nerd, I have tones of collectibles in my room now, let us see if that transfers into married life. Most of all my relationship with God means the most in the world to me. I would not be who I am today without his saving grace. I still remember the day when I said to myself, I am bored the website looks fun. I remember seeing Jessica, and I could tell she was looking for something serious, but I was not at that point yet. I wanted to see if she was truly a believer, so I asked her to explain the gospel to me. As you can see Jessica did alright with her definition lol. You know, Jessica and I grew up in different countries and very different households. against all odds, and during a worldwide pandemic we still managed to find each other. Closed borders could not set us apart.

Julie is Jessica's younger sister. They are 18 months apart and grew up as best friends. Julie has always been by Jessica's side and supports her in what she does. Jessica and Julie grew up sharing a room, friends, and many side activities. they have sung in a girl's choir together and gone on a missions trip together! Julie got married 9 years ago to a man named Steve.

Jeff here, I love sports, video games, and my family. I have known Stephen my whole life. Since I was a day old. He is my older brother. Stephen has been my biggest support, and I have tried to be his. Even know we are both men of few words when we need to talk we are both there for each other when needed. I love him so much and I am so happy for him!

Jamie is Jessica's youngest sister. they are 5 years apart. Jamie was the classic little sister who annoyed Jessica and was her little Shadow. and shared a room with Jessica. As Jamie got older, she and Jessica became best friends. They have served as youth group leaders together, and chaperoned Youth group events. they went on a mission’s trip together and enjoy watching terrible movies and eating junk food. They will occasionally talk Theology and personal things and they value each other’s opinion greatly!

My name is Steve, My wife Annaliisa and I were as he says the first two people to shake his hand when he was saved. As we slowly started to get to know him, we started to see how much we loved him as a friend and a brother. One great memory about Stephen is when Stephen and I went out for Hakka, and he confided in me which is something Stephen often does not do unless he really loves and trusts you. Stephen and I have had many conversations where we have helped each other many times.

Jessica and Tracie met in 2012 and it didn't take long before Jessica was one of the family. Jessica is an "adopted" Aunt to Tracie's five kids and like a little sister to Tracie. talking about the Bible, eating at Chili's restaurant, a love of Hobby Lobby and laughing at poorly produced Hallmark movies are just some of the things they enjoy doing together.

My name is Andrew, I am a high school teacher. Just like Steve, I go to the same Church as Stephen. My wife Karen and I have known him for about nine years. My Dad was his high school principal. I remember before I had my kids, and even after I used to get together with him, and I would teach him the bible. I think it is awesome that Stephen now does this with others. Some of my favorite memories of him now are sitting around, playing pool, and having deep talks and laughs.

Julia is 17 years old. She loves to read and Jessica is always telling her of new books she should read. Julia is also very creative and has learned to crochet, diamond paint, and play the piano. She calls Jessica Aunt Jess and enjoys going on "Aunt Jess dates." When she first met Stephen she liked him instantly and told Jessica that she approved of the relationship. She and Jessica share a love of, Horses, books, and Stephen.

Elijah is 15 years old. He loves video games, Legos, and superheroes his favorite superhero is Spiderman. He calls Jessica Aunt Jess. He enjoys spending time with Jessica, and loves going on "Aunt Jess dates." His favorite Aunt Jess date was his trip to the circus. When he met Stephen he asked a series of questions and declared to Jessica that he was worthy of a relationship with her. He and Stephen share a love of superheroes and Jessica.

Titus is 12 years old he is silly and full of life. He loves video games, Legos, and superheroes his favorite superhero is Ironman. he calls Jessica Aunt Jess. He enjoys spending time with Jessica, and loves going on "Aunt Jess dates." He enjoyed the Aunt Jess date of going to the Strong Museum of play. When he first met Stephen he took him on a tour of the house and quizzed Stephen on each and every superhero. He came downstairs and told Jessica "He passed the test." He and Stephen share a love of Superheroes and Jessica.
