Maid of Honor
As my only sister, there was never a question who would be standing beside me on my wedding day. Carly has been my built-in best friend, biggest supporter, and the person I can always count on for laughter, advice, and unconditional love. She has the biggest heart of anyone I know. Whether it was feeding me dinner almost every night when I was a broke college student (and pretending not to notice all the Diet Cokes that mysteriously disappeared from her fridge—I probably owe her about 300!), or always showing up whenever I need her, she has spent her life taking care of the people she loves. She’s incredibly organized, endlessly caring, and the most amazing mom to my two nephews, Jackson and Crawford. Watching her love and raise those two has been one of my greatest joys. Carly, along with Cate and Catie, also deserves a little credit for this wedding—they were the ones who convinced me to download Hinge and go on that very first date with Brendan. I couldn’t imagine this day without her by my side. I love her more than words can say, and I’m so grateful to call her not only my sister, but my very best friend.
Groomsman
As my oldest brother, David has always been one of my greatest protectors, biggest supporters, and lifelong friends. If you’re lucky enough to be part of his circle, you have someone who will stand by your side through anything. His loyalty is unmatched, and he loves his family and friends with his whole heart. Growing up, he perfected the art of being an older brother—whether that meant convincing me to spend my hard-earned money on pizza for him or recruiting me to play roller hockey in equipment that was much too big for me. Looking back, those are some of my favorite memories. David has an incredible ability to connect with people and make everyone feel like an old friend. He’s kind, hilarious, endlessly dependable, and somehow manages to make everyone around him feel welcome. He’s also the world’s best dog dad to his beloved German Shepherd, Bear. While he’ll be standing beside Brendan on our wedding day, he’ll always be my big brother first. Seeing the friendship they’ve built over their shared love of good music, great whiskey, and plenty of laughs has been so special. I couldn’t be happier that Brendan is gaining not only a brother-in-law, but a lifelong friend.
Bridesmaid
When I met Brendan, I never imagined I’d also gain such wonderful sisters. From the very beginning, Hannah welcomed me with kindness, warmth, and the sweetest heart. It didn’t take long to see that caring for others isn’t just what she does—it’s who she is. As a speech-language pathologist, Hannah has a true passion for helping children grow and succeed, and that same compassion shines through in every part of her life. Whether she’s jumping into the lake without a second thought to rescue her niece, Livvie, or lovingly caring for her two dogs, Sushi and Ginger, Hannah is always putting others first. One of the many things we bonded over was our shared love of plants. While I may enjoy collecting them, Hannah has an incredible talent for keeping them thriving (and somehow convincing them to multiply!). I’m so grateful to have gained not only an amazing sister-in-law, but also a wonderful friend. Having Hannah stand beside me as a bridesmaid means so much, and I feel incredibly lucky to be joining such a loving family.

When I met Brendan, I never imagined I’d also gain such wonderful sisters. From the very beginning, Emmie welcomed me with kindness, laughter, and open arms. She has a way of making everyone around her feel like family, and I’m so grateful to be one of those people. Emmie is one of the hardest-working people I know, and she does everything she can for the people she loves. Whether she’s caring for her two sweet kids, Kai and Livvie, or balancing her many talents as a photographer and hairstylist, she gives her whole heart to everything she does. She’s also an incredible plant lover, which gives us yet another thing to bond over! Some of my favorite memories with Emmie have been our lake trips together, where I’ve had the chance to get to know her even better. She’s funny, genuine, and such a wonderful mom, and it’s been a joy watching the love she pours into her family. I’m so grateful to have gained not only an amazing sister-in-law, but also a wonderful friend. Having Emmie stand beside me as a bridesmaid means so much, and I feel incredibly lucky to be joining such a loving family.

Catie is my cousin, but more importantly, she’s one of my very best friends. Being just a year older than me, we’ve shared so many of life’s biggest moments together—from our annual beach house trips growing up to making it a priority every year to visit one another, whether that’s in California, Nashville, New York, or somewhere in between. No matter how much time passes between conversations, we always pick up right where we left off, and usually on multiple platforms. Catie is funny, caring, incredibly creative, and loves her people with her whole heart. She’s an amazingly talented florist, has a gift for creating beautiful celebrations, and after seeing her baby shower, it’s clear she’s also an incredible party planner. One of my favorite memories is when I temporarily escaped my brown recluse infestation by living with her and her husband in California for a month, where every evening consisted of watching Love Island while speaking in terrible British accents. She’s been by my side through every season of my life, and she’s even one of the people responsible for encouraging me to go on my very first Hinge date—which just so happened to be with Brendan. I truly wouldn’t be standing here today without her encouragement. Having Catie stand beside me on our wedding day means so much because she has been one of my greatest supporters, my biggest cheerleader, and the kind of best friend everyone hopes to have.
