After their first date was a success, they knew they wanted to see each other again (ask Jon why he thought he would never see Lindsey again, its quite comical). About a week later, the whole world shut down. The pandemic didn't stop them from getting to know each other, it just looked a little different. Dates over FaceTime, outdoor workouts, hikes, game nights and DIY projects slowly brought them closer. What was going on in the world really didn't seem to phase them because they were slowly falling very much in love with each other. Before they knew it, they were meeting each others families, traveling together and building a solid foundation for a great relationship. About 6 months into their relationship, Lindsey and Jon traveled to one of Lindsey's favorite places in the world, Crystal Lake, Michigan. Jon fell in love with the place just as much as Lindsey and even said "want to get married here one day"? Little did Jon know, Lindsey was thinking the same thing. About a year later, Jonathan got down on one knee and asked Lindsey to be his wife at the beautiful Pyramid Point in Leelanau, Michigan. It was the happiest and most loved filled weekend. They were ecstatic and starting planning right away. They visited a venue that weekend and stood in the place they would exchange vows and said to each other "this is it". The place was in Chrystal Lake, Michigan. Lindsey and Jon will exchange vows in the presence of their closest family on September 17th, 2022 at Chimney Corners Resort. They both share the value of family and can't wait to become husband and wife in THEIR favorite place in the world with their favorite people. The celebration will continue on October 1st, 2022 with our friends and other family members who have truly touch them individually and as a couple. They can't wait to celebrate with everyone.
