What is the wedding day itinerary?

Cocktail Welcome Hour, 6:30pm-7:30pm Reception Begins, 7:30pm Dinner is Served, 8:00pm Music Ends, 11:45pm

When do I need to RSVP by?
Answer
Due to planning deadlines with our venue, Friday, September 8 is the absolute last day we can accept responses. Go to the RSVP tab at the top of this page.

Where is the venue?
Answer
Chroma Detroit is located right off Woodward avenue (the very first paved roadway in the US). Look for the huge mural on the side of the building of ‘the Girl with the ‘D’ Earring’, a play on the famous Dutch painting ‘ the Girl with the Pearl Earring’. Address is 2937 E Grand Boulevard, Detroit, MI.

What type of food and drink will be served?
Answer
We will have lots of hors d'ouevres, a beef tenderloin dish, and your choice of a chocolate or lemon flavored dessert! If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies including vegetarian or gluten free, please let us know while RSVPing!

Where can I park near the venue?
Answer
There is a secured parking lot attached to the venue building. We’ve taken care of the payment fee already!

How many people can I bring with me?
Answer
Due to space, we are only able to accommodate the number of people listed on your invite to our wedding.

Can I bring my kids?
Answer
While we love your kids, you deserve a night away. Our wedding is an adult-only occasion.

What time should I arrive?
Answer
We will be getting married in a private, intimate ceremony and would love for you to celebrate with us afterwards. You can arrive at 6:30pm for our welcoming cocktail hour!

What is the dress code?
Answer
We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us! Wear something you're comfortable in of course, but we request everyone dress in cocktail attire - a suit jacket, long or short flowy dresses, etc.

Will the event be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Cocktail hour will take place on the first floor before we head up to the reception on the ninth floor! Everything will be inside but we will have a main floor patio set up for anyone wanting to enjoy the night sky.

Do you have a wedding registry?
Answer
If you feel willing to do so, we’re registered for some items we’ve had our eyes on. Check out the link at the top of this page.

Do you have reserved hotel rooms that I can book?
Answer
We don't have a room block but there are plenty of places to stay if you're wanting downtown Detroit or the suburbs. Check out the 'Where to Stay' tab at the top of this page.
