We met on Bumble, a popular dating app, and wasted no time planning our first date. Craig chose Soby’s, a quintessential Greenville restaurant, and from the moment we sat down, the conversation never stopped. We talked all night, completely losing track of time. Our second date came quickly: watching the Eagles–Cowboys game before Ashley headed back to Pennsylvania for nine days to celebrate Christmas with her family. Before she left, she dropped off her dad’s famous peanut butter cookies at Craig’s door. His immediate thought? Wow, she can cook! (For the record, Ashley does not cook.) We officially became a couple on December 26, 2023, the day Ashley returned from PA, and from there, everything just felt right. Our relationship grew, and we both knew we had found what we were looking for. Life has a way of testing even the strongest bonds. In October 2024, Ashley was diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Nothing could stop her, and Craig never left her side. Through it all, there has never been a doubt that we were meant to find each other when we did. We can’t wait to celebrate our love, our journey, and our life together with everyone who means so much to us.
