Taylor and Aaron met through Taylor's brother about 8 years ago. Aaron and Preston became friends through a mutual friend and began hunting together often. Before we knew it, Aaron was joining Taylor's family for dinner, trips to the lake and even family reunions. Though Taylor and Aaron were not together yet, Taylor's whole family (specifically Taylor's Nana) saw their connection and knew that the two would eventually end up together. Taylor and her mom, Kim, always joked with Aaron that Taylor would marry him someday... what Aaron didn't know is, they weren't joking! Taylor and Aaron spent many days together as friends and eventually went on their first official date on October 19, 2014.
Aaron and Taylor have planned for quite a while on remodeling a barn on Aaron's family land for their wedding venue. On the day of Taylor's graduation from Occupational Therapy Assistant school, Aaron also planned to propose... in the barn. After spending time with Aaron's sisters and close friends after graduation, Taylor arrived home to the barn lit up with lights and Aaron standing below a banner that stated "Marry Me." The proposal was perfect as Aaron also planned a catered dinner with all of their family and closest friends to celebrate! It was very sentimental that the proposal occurred in the same place in which the couple will be married on October 3rd.
