Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Brittany Sedar and Kevin Crampton
Welcome to the Quad Cities! The QC area consists of four cities between Illinois and Iowa with the Mississippi River separating them. On the Illinois side: Moline & Rock Island and on the Iowa side: Davenport & Bettendorf. It is less than a 10 minute drive to cross the bridge to get to the other side. Rideshare is available in the area but sometimes does have a wait. Here is our list of top food and drink, plus things to do in the QC area. They are listed by proximity to the Axis Hotel.

Fifth Avenue Syndicate

1630 5th Avenue, Moline, IL 61265

This restaurant is attached to the Axis hotel. The menu is limited but the food is great and has excellent cocktails.

Cafe Fresh

1514 5th Avenue, Moline, IL 61265

Right next to the wedding venue and close to the hotel. Great spot for lunch.

Bent River Brewing Co

1413 5th Avenue, Moline, IL 61265

Local brewery with tasty American fare food. Highly recommended for something casual.

Lagomarcino's Confectionery

1422 5th Avenue, Moline, IL 61265

Locally owned confectionary and soda fountain shop. Go get some tasty treats!

LemonGrass Cafe

1419 5th Avenue, Moline, IL 61265

A Thai restaurant in the area that is quite popular.

Analog Pizza & Arcade

1405 5th Avenue, Moline, IL 61265

Good bar spot that serves pizza. They have a wide array of arcade games old and new to play. They have a larger location across the river in Davenport that has even more arcade games. That location would be our recommendation for some fun.

Johnny's Italian Steakhouse

1300 River Drive, Moline, IL 61265

Nice restaurant with fantastic Italian food. A QC staple. Reservations recommended.

John Deere Pavilion

1400 River Drive, Moline, IL 61265

The QCs is home to John Deere headquarters. This is a visitor center and museum. You can learn about the history of Deere plus see machines and equipment hands on, family friendly.

QC Coffee and Pancake House

1831 3rd Avenue, Rock Island, IL 61201

Very popular breakfast spot, they are known for their Cinnamon Roll Pancakes. Wait times are usual when you get there.

The Half Nelson

321 East 2nd Street, Davenport, IA 52801

Great restaurant on the Iowa side. A FAVORITE of ours. Reservations recommended.

Mississippi River Distilling Company

318 East 2nd Street, Davenport, IA 52801

A local distillery and cocktail lounge. We recommend the Buffalo Bill or Pomegranate Smash.

Armored Gardens

315 Pershing Avenue, Davenport, IA 52801

Bar area with casual food options. About 100 beers on tap.

Duck City Bistro

115 East 3rd Street, Davenport, IA 52801

Fine Dining in the Quad Cities. Nice atmosphere. Reservations highly advised.

Iron Tee Golf

6909 Iron Tee Way, Bettendorf, IA 52722

About a 15 minute drive away from the hotel. This is basically Top Golf. They have heated bays so you can still go when cold out. They also have a restaurant on site.
