We met on Hinge—just one of those matches that felt easy right from the start. Conversation flowed naturally for a few days, the kind where you don’t have to overthink what to say next. Afterward, we set out to find a place to play pool… which turned into driving all around the city, hopping from place to place, only to find everything way too crowded. We spent the whole day together, just enjoying each other’s company, wandering through the mall, talking about everything and nothing. And at one point, before going to Nathaniel's house, he mentioned wanting to stop home first—just to vacuum, so his cats wouldn’t bother Abbey's allergies. It was such a small thing, but it said everything. That was the moment Abbey knew—he was the one. And as it turns out, Nathaniel knew even earlier—he knew the moment he asked her out that she was the one.
