FAQs

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are so grateful to celebrate this special day with you. In lieu of traditional gifts, we would appreciate contributions toward our honeymoon fund as we make memories together as newlyweds.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to our venue size and our desire to keep our wedding intimate, only guests specifically listed on the invitation are invited to attend. If your invitation includes a plus one, it will be clearly indicated. Thank you for understanding and helping us celebrate this special day with our closest family and friends!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Guests are welcome to book accommodations with Bama Bed & Breakfast and receive 10% off by mentioning that they are attending the Chambley/Crain Wedding. We also have a hotel block at The Alamite Hotel in Downtown Tuscaloosa. There are also several hotel options available throughout the Tuscaloosa area for your convenience.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Please note that parking at the venue is limited to approximately 30 spaces. We kindly encourage guests to carpool or ride with other guests whenever possible. If the venue parking lot becomes full, additional parking can be found along The Strip with a short walk to the venue. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding attire is Garden Party: Ladies are encouraged to wear maxi or midi dresses in spring-inspired colors. We kindly ask guests to avoid wearing light blue or white. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear khakis with a button-down shirt.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Guests will be allowed on the property beginning 30 minutes before the ceremony. We recommend arriving early to allow time for parking and seating, as the ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM. Please note that the ceremony will be held outdoors, so we encourage guests to dress comfortably and be mindful of the weather.
