We're getting married !

Craig and Reagan met through a student organization at Nelson University, where they were chosen to co-lead a trip to India together. November 25th, 2023: They met in person for the first time for coffee. Reagan told herself, "This is not a date but I will have a hard time convincing myself that if he pays for my coffee." Craig paid for her coffee. They talked for a couple of hours just getting to know each other, then Craig picked up a set of couples' conversation cards from a boutique next door and just started asking questions. About what they wanted in life, past relationships, marriage. You know, normal first-time meeting conversation topics. Reagan tried to guard her heart and asked God if she should even be engaging in a conversation like this with someone she had just met. She felt peace. And in that moment, she knew Craig Allen was going to be her husband. Over Christmas break, they spent more time together hanging out and talking on the phone a LOT. Reagan (and pretty much everyone around her) was convinced Craig liked her. But then it was radio silence when Craig went back to Michigan in January. Reagan convinced herself she'd made the whole thing up. February 2024: Craig went into cardiac arrest while on a run and spent a week in the hospital. After being released, he came back to Texas to be with family. While he was home, Craig explained to Reagan how he was deciding between going back to his life in Michigan or moving back to Texas. He told Reagan about a girl in Michigan and how he planned to ask her to be his girlfriend once he went back. Even in that moment, Reagan had FULL confidence that Craig would move back to Texas and somehow, they would end up together. May 2024: Craig moved back to Texas. He was single. Once they finally left for India, Reagan did everything she could to ignore her feelings and focus on the trip. She even prayed that God would take them away. He didn’t. On the long flight home, they ended up sitting next to each other. Craig asked to borrow Reagan's blanket and she said yes. Then he wrapped her in it with him. 45 minutes into the movie they were watching, he reached over and held her hand. When they got back, they decided to spend time getting to know each other outside of leading a trip together. June 27, 2024: three weeks after returning form India, Craig asked Reagan to be his girlfriend. Their relationship wasn’t perfect or easy. They navigated semi-long distance, school, and job searching. But they were committed to each other. The next summer, Reagan lived in India for three months, and Craig joined her for the last month. This time, they got to experience it as a couple. December 11, 2025: A year and a half of dating later, Craig asked Reagan to marry him. She said yes! (Obviously) And now we're here! September 13, 2026: The two will become one. And to think it all started at a coffee shop and on a flight home from India. Here's to us! We can't wait to celebrate with you!
