When should I RSVP by?

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our wedding party, parents and siblings will be planning to arrive at Billfish Café at 12:00pm midday. This will allow some contingency and time for photos on the Pier. On the invitations we are asking guests to arrive at 12:30pm onwards. You are very welcome to arrive earlier if you wish! Everyone absolutely must be there ahead of our cruise departure at 1:00pm.

Are you registered?

Answer

Yes! Check out the "Registry" tab above. We have a charitable registry supporting Diabetes Youth Auckland. We have a gift registry with Briscoes. We have also shared our bank details for any preferences towards financial contributions. Although, nothing is expected!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! Formal dress for the Wedding Ceremony. For the After Party either the same clothes, cocktail attire, or tidy casual will be fine.

Is there a dinner?

Answer

Nope! There is no dinner included as part of the formal wedding proceedings. There will be nibbles during the wedding ceremony cruise. When we return at 5pm guests are very welcome to dine at the Billfish Café and Restaurant on Pier Z who offer a dinner menu, to head to the After Party location New Brew who also offer a dinner menu, or to grab dinner somewhere else entirely. We also understand some guests may wish to attend the Wedding Ceremony only and then depart. After the Wedding Ceremony cruise, our newlyweds will be returning to Henderson for a quick outfit change and then straight out to New Brew to host the After Party.

Can I make special food requests?

Answer

The food provided at all events will be nibbles only, so we aren't looking to offer food options or take special requests. We are trying to incorporate lots of variety and different options to hopefully suit everyone. If any Wedding Ceremony guests have any major allergies or medical concerns please let us know.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

The Wedding Ceremony guests are by invitation only, and happen to all be adults. At the After Party children and teenagers are all very welcome! The event starts at 7pm. It is a pub environment where there will be drinking and dancing into the later hours.

Are there any other events around the Wedding?

Answer

Yes! We hosted an open Engagement Party at New Brew back on the 20th of March. We are planning a combined Hens and Stag do in August. There will also be a Bridal Shower High-Tea in early September. There will also be a Wedding Rehearsal at Pier Z the day before.
