Like so many modern love stories, ours started the classic way: on Tinder. It was February 2021, mid-pandemic, when Craig and Paris matched and exchanged a few quick messages before Paris suggested moving the conversation to Instagram (“I’m more active there,” he claimed). Not long after, they made plans for their first date. Paris took Craig to one of his favorite hidden spots, a quiet tee box surrounded by trees with great views on a golf course in San Diego, just below the dog park in South Park. They shared seltzers, Goldfish, and great conversation filled with curious questions...until Craig, dressed completely wrong for the chilly evening, had to call it early because he was freezing. A few weeks later, they reconnected over a Taco Stand lunch, and that’s when everything clicked. From that point on, the rest was history; and thankfully, every date since has been a little warmer.
