We were married in Breckenridge, Colorado on September 21, 2024

The *real* first look

Craig was a little teary, but never fear! Meaghan's dress had POCKETS with tissues!

The weather was beautiful for the wedding ceremony, which included a poem written by Meaghan's grandfather and a letter from Craig's grandparents.

Our wedding ceremony concluded with a Celtic Handfasting to officially tie the knot!

Mountaintop champagne to celebrate

The weather began changing rapidly right after the wedding ceremony, with temperatures dropping about 20 degrees in one hour

But we were undeterred by the cold!

Our original plans included hiking to Blue Lakes for a pizza and beer picnic, but the weather had other plans.

By this point it was raining and starting to snow, with winds gusting upwards of 20 miles per hour

Needless to say, our picnic was short lived!

Fortunately, our friends saved the day and Meaghan's wedding dress with hair dryers and box fans.

So we celebrated in flannel! Would you really expect anything else from Meaghan? :)

Due to the first blizzard of the season falling on our wedding day, our amazing photographer offered to go out on a wedding hike re-do!

We chose St. Mary's Glacier in Idaho Springs, CO. One of our favorite places in the world! We have a photo in this same spot 3 years in a row, but this one is our favorite.

A marriage built on pizza! We met working at a campus dining hall pizza place, where Meaghan was Craig's manager. Scandalous!

We may have caught the first blizzard of the season, but we also caught the aspens in all their glory.

Fun fact: we jumped off the small cliff in the background of this photo into the freezing alpine lake in 2023. We have also climbed to the very top of this glacier twice!

It was about 35 degrees out this morning, and the water was ice cold. But rules are rules, and our rule is when you see an alpine lake, you have to get in!
