Laid-back, backyard party at a brewery. This won't be a traditional, fully seated ceremony or reception - more relaxed, more social, and a lot more fun! Think cocktail party style wedding but make it a brewery!
Not before 5pm. Our ceremony will start at 5:30pm. The bar will be open at 5pm so you're welcome to arrive a bit early to grab a drink and get settled beforehand.
Go for fall-appropriate outfits. Dressy casual. We'd love for you to look nice but feel comfortable! We kindly request no jeans. FYI: Part of our venue features some gravel areas, so we recommend opting for flats, wedges or block heels.
We have the entire venue so it will be a mix of indoor and outdoor. Ideally the weather will be a perfect October day, and the ceremony will take place outside.
Volunteer Brewing will have 8 of their beers on tap + their seltzer. They will also serve Harvest Ridge (a Delaware winery) wine, and 1 specialty (vodka) cocktail. NA beer + soft drinks will also be available.
All parking is free on both Main Street, the Middletown Town Hall parking lot as well as the parking lot on S. Scott St. at A St (which is essentially an alley.) Middletown Town Hall Parking lot is just down the A St. Alley and a 2 min walk to Volunteer Brewing. The free parking lot on S. Scott St. is a 1 min walk to Volunteer Brewing. DO NOT park in the fire department parking lot. Contact Kate or Craig directly and they can share a map.
