Maggie Daley Park Ice Skating Ribbon

During the holidays Lincoln Park Zoo hosts Zoo Lights which is a fun activity to stroll through the zoo in the evening enjoy the lights and some hot cocoa.
Christkindlmarket Chicago
Looking to get into the holiday spirit go check out the Christkindlmarket in the Loop. The German-style Christmas Market has free admission. Stroll through the booths of Christmas ornaments and enjoy fresh pretzels, bratwurst and hot spiced wine.

Museums
Looking to spend time away from the cold, Chicago has many museums we would recommend checking out. Our favorites are the Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium, Art Institute, and the Museum of Science and Industry.
Trivoli Tavern
Italian restaurant near the hotel. Reservations need to be made in advance and can be hard to find, but we would definitely recommend.
Lou Malnati's Pizzeria
If you are looking for deep dish pizza while in town this Lou's is close to the hotel and our preferred deep dish
Sawada Coffee
Used to be a frequented place for Jennifer when she lives in West Loop. Great coffee and good vibes!
Guinness Open Gate Brewery – West Loop
Check out the Guinness Brewery in Chicago get some good beer and food. Best Guiness in Chicago!
J.P. Graziano Grocery
Looking for a great sandwich stop by this sandwich shop near the hotel.
Sapori Trattoria
Italian Restaurant further from the venue/hotel but right next to where we live and a place we have celebrated special occasions including our engagement! Great Italian food and make sure to get the tiramisu!
Sal's Trattoria
Our other favorite neighborhood Italian restaurant also a hike from the hotel but definitely worth the trip if you're looking for a nice Italian meal in a cozy apartment-style restaurant. The pastas are incredible!
