Maid of Honor
Holly is one of the most loyal people I have ever met. Her care for and devotion to me as her sister is unmatched. She is also one of the most fun people you'll ever meet. It's an honor to have her stand next to me on the day that I'll say, "I do," to the man who is committed to loving and cherishing me. She is an amazing mother and one of the strongest people I know.
Matron of Honor
This sister in love has been in my life for over 20 years. To say she is a gift to me is an understatement. She is one of the most thoughtful, caring, and devoted people I know. Her ability to be honest through the pain of this life while ultimately trusting the Lord with the journey is one that encourages any person she meets to keep going.
Bridesmaid
From the moment this baby girl came into the world, we knew she was born to lead. What some may call stubbornness, we saw as a drive to be discipled and nurtured to surrender to the Lord to be used for his purposes. She is an amazing 13-year-old who knows and loves Jesus, is an aspiring musician, and is a volleyball player who anyone would want on their team. Her devotion to friends and family is unmatched. I'm honored to have her stand up with me.
Bridesmaid
A friend for over 20 years, Julie came into my life when we were both young adults who were involved in the same church and desired to be faithful and find community. Our friendship is one that is like Jonathan and David in the Bible...respective roles, unique giftings, but a friendship grounded in the Lord and always there for one another. I'm very thankful for this gift of a friendship that has stood the test of time.
Best Man
Eric, my 30-year-old beloved son, is my best friend. His caring heart is both in word and deed. One example of this is how he cares for his family. When his mom was sick and he was studying for the LSAT, he moved back home to study and help me care for his mom. I see this same care demonstrated and modeled in how he cares for his family as a husband and new father. He’s strong, steady, dependable, and has a great sense of humor (dry and sarcastic just like his dad…I’m sorry.) I’m honored to have Eric stand next to me as my best man.
Groomsman
Jeff and I have been friends for over 25 years. As a dear Christian brother who is like-minded and loyal, we encouraged one another when raising kids and he and Kim (his wife) have been a strong support for my family in difficult times. He is a fun-loving friend, a brother, a gift, and trustworthy to his core. I admire the fact that he never meets a stranger. He has a few unique Jeff-isms, but we love him for them. I’m honored to have him stand next to me as not only a groomsman, but a dear friend.
