He’s the first person I call when something new, exciting or horrible happens and you have to cut him off to end the call.

Meet Liz: Dj and I met in college in science class. Dj was outgoing as usual and I tried to keep my head down and leave as quick as possible. Couple classes in Dj started talking to me and the rest is history. He was my rock in our special ed. cohort and then became my roommate in Somerville during his first year teaching. Our friendship is one like no other. I love our honesty and our understanding of one another. I am so happy to have Dj in my life and Craig is the cherry on top. I cannot wait to watch their love grow and be apart of the memories to come.

Meet Steph: DJ and Steph met in college during RA training. They quickly bonded over acapella and pina coladas and were frequently found watching Sing it On in DJs room. Nowadays they bond over their love of teaching!

Craig and I became friends in our sophomore year of college when each of our apartments became the go-to party houses for that year. We saw a lot of each other but became even closer friends when we became roommates in our last semester of college. We spent countless hours adventuring, playing games, drinking cheap wine, watching Jersey shore & Disney movies, and of course, falling asleep mid-show/movie. All these years later the only thing that has changed is our taste in wine.

Meet Jon: Hello my name is Jonathan Arensmeyer and I am one of DJ's cousins. This will be the first wedding that I have ever attended and I am excited to see what happens. It’s crazy that your getting married cuz. It seems like yesterday we were singing the oh oh puppy song and playing with Polly pockets. Time does fly. Growing up a lot changed for me. I was always changing schools and moving to different places. It was nice to be able to come visit Vermont and have a common face and someone to entertain me on my visits. I was also always excited to hear that you were coming to visit us in our new homes. When I first meant Craig I knew that you guys had something special. I am glad you two will be able to share that for the rest of your lives. Congratulations!

Meet Morgan: Dj has always been my favorite cousin. He is the one I know the best and he almost seems like another brother. Some of my favorite memories are of the times he visited us wherever we were stationed. Playing American Girl Dolls in Washington or laying on the trampoline in Italy. However, the best memories always consist of us singing and dancing around like we’re crazy! I am so happy that you’ve found the love of your life. Craig is awesome! You guys are so fun together and it feels like Craig has always been a part of the family. I now have two favorites!! Congratulations on are your engagement and I cannot wait to experience your wedding day with you both.

D.J. and I have been friends since third grade and although he only introduced me to Craig a few years ago, I feel like we have been friends forever. Craig has such a big heart and is someone I can go to for a fun weekend getaway, a good laugh, or to make sassy comments to tease D.J. with.
