Wedding & Reception

4:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Meridian International Center
1630 Crescent Place Northwest, Washington, DC 20009

Dress code is summer cocktail garden party chic. For women: sundresses, midi length or longer. Maybe even a wide-brimmed hat if you're feelin it. For men: suits with tie.

We feel obliged to say: they call DC "the swamp" for a reason. In July it's going to be hot and very humid (sorry!) The venue is air-conditioned and we'll do our best to keep everyone cool while outside, but just try to be mindful of this when choosing fabrics to wear!

After Party

Sat, Jul 19, 2025, 11:00 pm - Sun, Jul 20, 2025, 1:00 am

Come straight from Meridian House! But if you want to change/freshen up, it's across the street (a 3 minute walk) from the Line Hotel

We've booked the second floor of Roofer's Union! It'll be an open bar, with lots of fun and dancing. Maybe even a karaoke component, we'll see... Because we have the whole space to ourselves, kids and people under 21 can come too! There's room for everyone to attend! Don't be lame! Come!!

Brunch

10:00 am - 1:00 pm

This will be a lighthearted and fun event, but it *is* in stately mansion next to the White House, so avoid PJ's/t-shirts. Fellas: wear something with a collar. Ladies: whatever you would wear to grab lunch at a restaurant with a friend. So not dressy-dressy but also not like, leggings. Is this confusing? We're with you, we're sorry - reach out to Caitlin or Craig with specific questions.

We'll have coffee, drinks, a breakfast buffet, and some fun programming. We'll be there for the full three hours, but come and say your hungover goodbyes whenever you'd like. We're so excited for you all to see this place - there are knick knacks and hidden treasures galore. Here's their blurb: The DACOR Bacon House is an elegant 200 year-old brick mansion, built in the iconic Federal style and located two blocks from the White House. The House is an historic national treasure that serves as a living testament to Americas political, cultural, and diplomatic heritage. It is also a museum for the public that honors the nations diplomatic history and shares art and artifacts from around the world. Bacon House is only accessible to active duty or former members of the foreign affairs agencies of the U.S. Government.
