For our off island guests, the most convient airport to fly into is Kona International airport (KOA). Hilo International airport (ITO) is 90 minutes away and has limited service. These are the only two regularly used airports on the big island.
There are many nice hotels available on the Kona coast. The Hilton Waikaloa and the Marriott Waikaloa are within walking/trolley distance of the reception. We reccomend staying in this area.
The ceremony is at King Kamehameha Kona Beach Hotel, about a 20 mile drive from the reception area, which will be held at Roy's Waikaloa Bar & Grill. The Big Island lacks public transportation so a rental car is highly recommended.
