Our plans to wed in a large ceremony, with all our friends and family there to celebrate with us, have unfortunately been changed due to COVID-19. We cannot responsibly have all of our loved ones together, drinking, dancing and having fun, when there is a virus spreading that could potentially get everyone sick. In other words, coronavirus has ruined yet another aspect of normal life! Despite this, Annie and Craig still do have plans to get married, albeit on a much smaller scale. We are trading the large reception hall for a hiking trail in the woods, with only our photographer, dog, and immediate family. We hope that our backyard wedding this year isn't the only opportunity we'll have to celebrate our love, but we're excited to still be able to make *something* happen on the date 10/10/2020, which has been our dream for a while now. As of now, we do not have any details about a follow-up celebration or reception in 2021 or 2022. It's really hard to plan things nowadays! We will definitely let everyone know (with formal, snail-mail invitations no less) when we DO know our plans to celebrate with you. It breaks our hearts (Craig's, Annie's, even Yogi's) to not be able to see everyone on our special day. Just know we will be thinking of you! We hope you are able to fill out or decorate the small card we sent in our anti-invitations so we can open them and read them on our wedding day. We have plans to create a scrapbook of everyone's letter back to us, as a way to commemorate this crazy, cancelled, coronavirus wedding!
