FAQs

Question

What the heck is Shed on the Ledge at Chip’s Run?

Answer

Great question! This is a lovingly combined title just for this wedding! The venue is actually the home of one of our dear friends, Chip Hafele. He calls his gorgeous home his ‘shed’ and it is on a hill, hence the ‘ledge’ part; and his farm and property has been called nicknamed ‘Chip’s Run’.

Question

What is the address?

Answer

7790 North Dwyer Road, Okeana, Ohio 45053 is the physical address. Unfortunately, the GPS will lie to you... Please continue past the GPS location about 0.4 Miles until the road turns into Sparks Road. Shed on the Ledge will be on your LEFT as you approach Sparks Road. We will have signs and balloons to mark the location for you to make it easier to find!

Question

Can we bring the kids?

Answer

Absolutely! We will have a good size group of kids attending- the more the merrier! We will have kid friendly food, snacks, drinks, toys and activities

Question

Is there a bar?

Answer

It wouldn’t be a wedding for Craig and Andee if there wasn’t… so, yes. Open bar with a couple types of beer, wines, bourbons, whiskeys, and basic mixers, plus a signature cocktail and shots. We will have various non-alcoholic choices such as tea, lemonade, and sodas. Mark will be our bartender serving so feel free to bring cash to tip if you love the service!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Yes!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal This is the day after St. Patrick's Day so feel free to continue the celebration! Our theme is "St Patty's Day-Lite" so our colors are green, gold and white :)

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are not registered anywhere. We have a fully functioning home and don’t need anything except your love and support!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There is plenty of close parking. Please reserve the areas closest to the home for older folks, thanks. PLEASE NOTE: this is a working farm. Depending on weather, it may be a little muddy from parking to the door so plan accordingly with shoes. All events will be inside.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We will have a welcome hour starting at 4, so feel free to arrive anytime from then until the beginning of the ceremony at 5pm. Don’t be late, please!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

By February 18th, 2023 on this website- Click on RSVP

Question

What should I expect?

Answer

We are keeping things simple so we can spend time with all of you! We will have a nice, short ceremony which will involve our kids since we are officially blending into one family. We will have tables and chairs upstairs and downstairs for guests. A kid area in the basement. There will be a hot buffet and bartender, and veg/fruit/meat/cheese trays to snack on throughout the night. There will be cake. We will have a dance space in the basement for all you party animals to show off your dance moves. Any other questions, please reach out to Andee.

Question

Will there be animals?

Answer

Yes. There will be a host of outdoor farm animals to look at, and lots of children indoors.
