What should I wear?

Answer

Guests are requested to join us in cocktail attire. Gentlemen, please wear a dark suit or blazer with dress pants. Ladies, a maxi or midi-length cocktail dress would be ideal.

What time does it start & end?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at 4:30 pm to enjoy pre-ceremony drinks and prelude music. The ceremony will begin at 5 pm. The reception will end at 10 pm, and we hope everyone will join us for an after-party at Merrymakers. Stay as late as you'd like (but Windell will probably kick us out around 1 am).

Can I bring my children?

Answer

This is an adults-only occasion. While we love all the little ones in our lives, we cannot accommodate children on our wedding day. There will be no exceptions. Thank you for your understanding!

Is the entire wedding at JC Newman?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony will be held in the courtyard across the street from JC Newman. Then, we'll head inside for cocktail hour and reception.

What can I expect at the reception?

Answer

We’ll be hosting a cocktail-style reception with a dinner of heavy hors d'oeuvres, cocktails, and dessert. Ladies are encouraged to choose shoes with mingling and dancing in mind.

How do I get to JC Newman?

Answer

We recommend using Uber/Lyft rideshare services if you plan on enjoying a few cocktails. There are plenty of parking spaces if you plan to drive; however, please note that you cannot leave your car on their property overnight. There's a smaller parking lot directly next to the building, as well as a larger lot across the street from the venue.
