The venue offers an acre field for parking. Black Sheep Shelter staff will be on duty to direct parking on the day of the wedding. There are 3 spots reserved for handicap parking. Cars cannot stay parked at the venue overnight. If you choose not to drive, Uber/Lyft is available in the area, but please be aware that cell service can sometimes be spotty at the venue, so pre scheduling rides is recommended. A shuttle service will also be scheduled to and from the hotels.
Black Sheep Shelter is a primarily outdoor venue. However, the ceremony and reception will be in the shelter, which although it is an open air structure, is covered and can be somewhat enclosed using burlap curtains. The Glass House, also known as the dance floor, is a 16' by 23' air conditioned space.

Yes, there will be an open bar serving beer, wine, hard seltzer, and non-alcoholic beverages. Aside from a specialty cocktail available during cocktail hour, the bar will not be serving spirits. This is in accordance with the venue and county policies. NO outside liquor or alcohol is allowed on the premises. Please be respectful of this and enjoy what the couple has chosen to offer!
Women may wear a sun dress or cocktail dress. Men may wear a suit, but jacket and tie can be optional. When deciding on attire, including shoes, keep in mind that Black Sheep Shelter is an outdoor venue.
