What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:00pm, but feel free to arrive a little early -up to 15 minutes before the start - if you'd like to settle in and mingle with other guests. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

May I bring a +1?

Answer

Due to limited venue capacity, we are only able to accommodate guests who are specifically named on the invitation. We would love to celebrate with everyone, but unfortunately, we are unable to offer +1's.

Are children invited?

Answer

While we absolutely adore all of the little ones in our lives, we unfortunately don’t have the space to accommodate everyone’s children. We truly appreciate your understanding and hope we can still celebrate with you!

What if I need to cancel or change my RSVP?

We totally understand—life happens! If you need to cancel or adjust your RSVP, just reach out to us directly.

What should I wear?

Answer

Dress code is Formal. For men, you are welcome to opt for a suit of any color palette or even a tuxedo if you wish. For women, consider a gown, fancy cocktail dress or pantsuit. We want you to feel fashionable and functional. For those who are curious, the wedding colors are French blue, baby blue, pearl and champagne gold.

Can I wear white to your wedding?

Answer

As much as Elise wants to be a modern, open-minded bridal babe... this will be a wedding honoring iconic traditions. Please do not wear plain white, ivory or cream ensembles.

What if I need to use the restroom or drop off my belongings before the ceremony?

Answer

There are bathrooms and coat check inside the venue. You can access them via the front entrance; the coat check closet and bathrooms are along the left-hand lobby hallway. Please no peeking at the ballroom until the reveal! Scout's honor, ok?

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will be outside the venue on the backside of the building. There will be shaded areas to congregate beforehand, but the seating will be in direct sunlight. Temps range from 80 - 90 degrees in the PNW. The cocktail hour and reception will have indoor air conditioning available.

Will there be parking?

Answer

The venue is located at the clubhouse of Meydenbauer Bay Yacht Club. Parking is first-come, first-serve. Summer is their busy season for parking. There will be ample spaces, but street parking is also easily available. When you arrive, there will be a white building with parking entrances available on either side. You will see the ceremony location in the back of the building as you're driving through the lot. Please enter the ceremony through outdoor back-entrance. You will be invited indoors after the ceremony during cocktail hour.

Will there be transportation offered?

Answer

We recommend carpooling or Ubering. For those taking rideshares from the Seattle-Center area, the average cost is $43. Please plan accordingly, especially if you plan on drinking. We want our attendees to be safe and highly value 100% SOBER DRIVING. Out of town guests should consider booking hotels in Bellevue. There are a dozen hotels under a 2 mile radius.

How long does it take to travel from Seattle to Bellevue?

Answer

On a good day, a minimum of 20-30 minutes is needed to get from Seattle city center to Bellevue. If there is traffic, add 15 minutes to your anticipated arrival.

Is it ok to take pictures/videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you turn off your cell phones and put them away during the wedding ceremony. We have a top-tier photographer curating a romantic experience. We don't want cell phones in the background blocking others' view and we want you fully present while creating memories alongside us.

What's on the menu?

Answer

For our cocktail hour, we will be offering a sizable grazing board that guests may indulge in at their leisure. For dinner, we will be hosting a pasta bar including noodles and three sauces: meat, alfredo and marinara. Protein will include chicken, pork/beef meatballs and Impossible meatballs. Sides will include salad, brussels sprouts, asparagus and breadsticks. For dessert, there will be vanilla and chocolate cake.

I have dietary restrictions? What can I eat?

Answer

We have a lot of loved ones who are gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, vegetarian and/or vegan. Please be sure to mark your RSVP with any and all dietary restrictions. You will receive a follow-up email with specifics. Items will also be labeled GF (Gluten-Free), DF (Dairy-Free), NF (Nut-Free), V (Vegetarian) & VG (Vegan).

Can I bring a gift to the wedding?

Answer

Of course! While we kindly ask that you consider contributing to our registry "honeyfund", we will also happily accept traditional gifts at the reception. There will be a designated table. We are so grateful for your love and support!
