Do you have a gift registry?
Answer
Yes, we've set up gift registries at John Lewis and Amazon for those who might wish to celebrate with us in that way. While your presence is truly the best gift, if you'd like to give something, we've carefully selected items on these registries to avoid duplicates of things we already have. Alternatively, if you wish to contribute toward our home renovation fund as we settle into our new place together, that would also be gratefully received. What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
Answer
We're excited to celebrate our special day in style at the castle! For gentlemen, a kilt, suit and tie, or smart shirt with trousers would be perfect. Ladies, please consider cocktail attire, formal dresses, or two-pieces that fall to midi or maxi length. As a courtesy to the bride, we appreciate guests choosing colours other than white. Since we will be having a ceilidh, you might want to choose footwear accordingly. We'll have storage space for any extra layers or shoes you wish to bring.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
We're planning an adult-oriented celebration so guests can fully unwind and enjoy the evening. We've made a few exceptions for families traveling from afar, which we've already discussed individually. We hope this gives you the opportunity to let your hair down and celebrate with us without having to worry about little ones!

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
We've had to be quite thoughtful with our guest list to keep within our venue capacity. For this reason, we can only accommodate those specifically named on the invitation. We hope you understand, and we're really looking forward to celebrating with you on our special day!

Anything we need to know about the venue?
Answer
No smoking or vaping in the building Under the venue's exclusive use hire, no external alcohol may be taken into the venue. If any alcohol is found in or around the building that has not been purchased from the venue, then it will be removed and you will be fined £500. No guests are permitted to drink outside after 22:00 and Challenge 25 is in operation, ID may be asked of you. As the castle is grade ‘A’ listed, all children must be accompanied and supervised by an adults at all times. All guests are required to be respectful of the venue's privately owned family run establishment.

When should we RSVP?
Answer
ASAP is best! We need to confirm numbers and dietary requirements at least 6 weeks before the wedding with the venue. If anything changes and you are no longer able to join us, we ask that you let us know promptly.
