We were introduced to each other by our mutual friend, Kate Gomez. We didn't think much of it at the time, it was just another acquaintance. As we saw each other out and about, we slowly began to build a friendship. A little over a year after we initially met, we went on a Lighterside Bus Trip, where we truly bonded. The bus trip is when we both felt that spark of "Okay, I think this could be something". We started dating officially a little over a month later on 12.27.2017.

Every year, a Coyle family member hosts the Annual Coyle Family Corn Roast. 2020 happened to be our year to host. As it is a family reunion as well, we always take a lot of pictures. Izzy and Maranda were getting their photos taken when Izzy felt a tap on her shoulder. It was Matt, and he got down on one knee. It went something like this: Matt: "Will you marry me?" Izzy: "Did you ask my dad?" Matt: "Yes" Izzy: "Did he say yes?" Matt: "Yes" Izzy: "Yes, I'll marry you" We spent the rest of the day celebrating with family and friends. It was truly amazing.
