Yes, though we're doing a lot of buffet-style stuff with ingredients listed. We have lot of friends and family with restrictions so the menu will accommodate as many people as possible. THAT SAID, please include your dietary restrictions/severity in your RSVP. We can definitely set aside portions to allow for zero cross-contamination.
Loads – and the ceremony and reception are in the same place. We'll also have a shuttle running between the ceremony and x & y hotels every (amount of time a lap takes). Listen, if you're reading this and it makes no sense, it's because you're supremely early and these are the TBDetails, okay?
?????
First - you will need a car to get to Accord (or ride with others ). This is not an easy metropolitan hub. We've created a spreadsheet to help coordinate rides from airports and/or the 5 burroughs. It's here: https://bit.ly/47IM3hq All of these are simply non-traffic times because....it's New York City. Factoring in traffic perfectly would be a nightmare without knowing your exact arrival time. Newark Airport: 2 hours, 111 miles LaGuardia: 2 hours, 5 minutes, 105 miles JFK: 2 hours, 12 minutes, 113 miles (a note from Jen: driving out of JFK is the most sadistic possible airport choice. Just be prepared to breathe deep, watch the road, and navigate crowds. There are flat rates to/from Grand Central to JFK, and depending on availability, you might want to deal with car rentals outside of Turnpike or burroughs. Up to you.) Newburgh Airport: 53 minutes, 36 miles Albany Airport: 1 hour 17 minutes, 81 miles Grand Central: 95 minutes (express) to Poughkeepsie, 42 minute drive Penn Station: 95 minutes (express) to Poughkeepsie, 42 minute drive
Just hit 'Registry' in the site nav! We tried to make it easy for everyone.
September is pretty temperate with cooler nights, but be sure to check the weather app ahead of your trip. Unlike California, New York is pretty tempermental this time of year – could be rainy, could be balmy, could be early frosts. Generally, though, it's temperate, last-gasp-of-summer days with cool, sweater-weather nights.
Kid friendly! We'll have a bunch coming, and we're going to set up some activities. No big clowns or anything, but we'll have arts, crafts, and space to crash.
Yes. Actually. The family tournament continues. If this seems out of left field on the FAQ page, just say hi to Jen's maternal side of the family.
