Maid of Honor
Jackie and Eva met while attending film school together at Chapman University. Eva lived downstairs from Jackie in the dorm and soon a daily ritual of meals in the cafeteria; one grabbing a spot, while the other grabbed sparkling water with lemon, made them an inseparable duo. Jackie emphatically always says that Eva was the best date of any for sorority events, and many of those nights ending in giggles and Raisin Canes. While Covid ended their on campus career short, their friendships has continued to grow. Eva now lives in Portland and the two visit whenever they can. Special thanks to Luke's job at AbioMed for having him work in Portland this last summer.
Best Man
Cameron and Luke met in middle school and quickly became friends after sharing detention one afternoon. In high school, they were in band, football, lacrosse, and student council together. For more than 15 years they’ve shared in mischief and adventures. Never letting distance or time diminish that friendship. Luke is honored that Cameron is his best man.
Bridesmaid
Elizabeth Cowen is the younger, much wiser sister to Luke. Elizabeth is incredibly artistic and is studying to follow in her parent's footsteps as a teacher. Elizabeth loves to spend her time with her pets, and even more so creating and lending a hand to anyone. Jackie is so excited to gain a sister.
Groomsman
Gage is Jackie's little brother. While Jackie has always acted like mom #2, Gage has always acted more like a big brother to her - supportive, protective, wise, and mature beyond his years, and sometimes much cooler than she is (he wishes). Gage attends college at University of Arizona where he is studying Sports Management and works for Learfield. You can often find him on the U of A football field, and basketball court, living out his dream and passion with the Wildcats.
Bridesmaid
Baylee and Jackie met almost 4 years ago when Jackie returned home from college due to Covid. The two knew they were destined to be friends when at a bar the Spice Girls song "Wannabe" came on and both exclusively associated the song with a Pixar movie. Jackie and Baylee's. friendship has grown from there to girl's nights, commissaries, and Disneyland trips. Jackie can't imagine anyone better to be helping her down the aisle.
Groomsman
Pat and Luke met at the Air Force Academy as roommates where they enjoyed snowboarding and Chinese food on free weekends. The were reunited later in Ohio as roommates and hosted the neighborhood poker night together for 2 years (Pat is still in the chip lead).
Flower Girl
Marilyn is Jackie's grandmother on her mom's side. Marilyn's bond with her grandkids is unique and strong, especially with Jackie, which is one of the reasons Jackie would like her to be our flower girl and help give her away. The second reason to this, is Marilyn and her husband Dan's, nearly 60 years of marriage. With such a special love and longevity, the couple would love such a strong relationship to be an active part of their ceremony and union.
Flower Girl
Joann, known as Oma, is Jackie's grandmother on her father's side. Oma spent many of Jackie's young years with her experimenting in the kitchen and fostering Jackie's love for baking. Joann and her late husband Pete (Opa), were married for over 60 years and were a shining example of love and devotion; through sickness, health, moving, and thriving to obtain the American dream. This is also why Jackie has requested her to be part of her bridal party as a Flower Girl and to help give her away.
Pup of Honor
Toby is Jackie's golden doodle who is now the shining age of 2. Jackie adopted him before Luke and her met, but Luke and him have grown extremely close. Toby claims Luke is a much better nap partner and way more fun since he allows him to chase the geese at the park. While Toby is disappointed he can't join his parents down the aisle and enjoy a slice of the wedding cake, he couldn't be more excited to gain a great dog dad.
