What is the guest attire?

Answer

Winter Elegance: For our December celebration, we invite guests to dress in Winter Elegance. Gentlemen are recommended to wear a dark suit with a tie. Think timeless, comfortable, and celebration ready.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love all of our nieces & nephews, our wedding is an adult-only event. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so that you can celebrate with us.

What about plus ones?

Answer

We are only able to accommodate those guests formally listed on your invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you digitally RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

What about guests with mobility concerns?

Answer

The Whitlock Inn is ADA compliant. Access to the ceremony in the courtyard has paved paths and there is a ramp leading into the house. There is an ADA compliant restroom in the ballroom.

What is the parking situation at the venue?

Answer

Complimentary parking is available at Truist Bank, directly adjacent to the Whitlock Inn, as well as LiveSafe Resources. The LiveSafe parking lot is located behind the venue. There will be signage to help direct, and staff will be at the venue to welcome you upon your arrival. What are some recommended transportation options?

Answer

A dedicated shuttle service will be in operation facilitating transportation to and from the hotel (Hilton Conference Center) and the venue. Uber and other rideshare options are readily available in the area. Please note, neither the Whitlock Inn, Truist Bank, nor LiveSafe Resources can accommodate vehicles being left overnight.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Average temperatures this time of year are: High: 53 degrees Low: 36 degrees Please make sure to dress appropriately for the weather. The ceremony will be outdoors, and the reception will take place inside the venue. In the event of inclement weather, all parts of the event will take place inside.

What time should guests arrive?

Answer

The Whitlock Inn welcomes guests thirty (30) minutes prior to the start time of the ceremony. Guests will be directed to the courtyard where the ceremony will take place. Access to the house will be limited to allow vendors to finalize set up.
