Where do I park?

Answer

There is a secure parking lot next to the venue. There will also be street parking available. The area in Mexican Town is a very safe and quiet neighborhood. We do advise guests from the same household/area to carpool if you can because parking lot room is limited.

What kind of food will you be serving?

Answer

Pizza will be provided from Pie-Sci Pizza! We will have plenty of vegan and non-vegan options for guests. We will have other small plates and finger foods. It will be family style, no formal seating charts. There will be outdoor and indoor accommodations. Very relaxed and casual, just like us!

If there is no formal seating chart, will I be able to sit?

Answer

Yes! There will be plenty of seating for our guests. We want people to be able to eat when they want. No waiting around for food to be served or being ushered to the buffet line.

Will there be live music?

Answer

Yes, there will be live music! Our friends/family in Empty Houses will be performing a few songs! After that we will have dancing to all our favorite Top 40s radio hits of the early 2000s.

Will you have an open bar?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. There will be a cash bar for our celebration. We debated over this for a long time. We are carrying the main financial aspects of our special day and this choice makes most sense for us! Please plan accordingly if you plan to drink alcohol. We will provide complimentary kegs and wine for our guests, but once that runs out, cash bar will be the only option.

Does the venue have an ATM?

Yes! But it would be wise to come prepared with cash if you are planning to buy alcohol from the bar.

4114 W. Vernon Hwy., Detroit, 48209 Right off I-75, exit 47C Vernor Hwy. A left onto Vernor Hwy., towards SW Detroit, about 1/2 a mile located on the right. El Club is located in the former Mexicantown Fiesta Center; next to EL CENTRAL Hispanic News.
